Bet you couldn't do that photo using droplets of Guinness.

Here I am impressed and find myself wondering how many hundred pics you took and is this a stacking of four images? I have never done such a shot, and until recently I had never shot match heads either, if you know what I mean. cp

Should I tell all my secrets?

This shot was taken in the kitchen sink some time last night. The sink was draped with black towels and jackets to reduce the light on the drips.

The camera was setup with a 70mm macro lens, set for a two second exposure at F11.

The flash was used off the camera, so that I could position it where it would not light up the stainless steel sink. The flash was set to manual - 1/32 power; 10 flashes per second.

This way the shutter could be open while the flash was capturing the drops of water.

Anyway, this photo is just one of many photos of drops taken. There is not Photoshop manipulation of the photo; just cropped the photo and sharpened it a little.

I had no idea, pretty trick with that 10 flashes per second idea. Very cool. cp
