Craig, the mix of colors is wide yet works together well. The long perspective of the coast versus the flat attention on the guy on the bench makes for a contrast that works well together. Over all I thought that the photo caused me to look deeper at and think longer about it. It challenges me to use my senses and to analyze it. If a photo can be philosophical, then this one definitely is. I think that it hits the senses with a powerful challenge to consider all of its aspects. It is three dimensional, which is difficult to achieve with a flat piece of art. It reminds me of some of the still life paintings from the grand masters who were able to take a piece of fruit and a tablecloth and make a tiny painting seem to be as big as the world. Give us more like this. Most impressive compostion!
